Tuesday was the Preacher's birthday, but we decided to celebrate it on Monday because:
a) it is our family day
b) it was gor-geous outside
c) it was actually an unscheduled day.
So we hopped on our bikes (kids in the pull behind cart) and while we intended to check out one lake, a couple of fortuitous turns led us downtown and to the sculpture garden. It was tons of fun. The kids loved running around and checking out all of the different sculptures. The Preacher had NEVER BEEN to see the spoon up close. How.is.that.possible. No matter, we remedied it. We celebrated with birthday brats and rhubarb cake and delicious ice cream. What a great day.
G&W...and of course Kit in her helmet too.
Obligatory picture pretending to eat the cherry. Not quite executed as directed.
How fun is that face?
Twins. Seriously.
Sillies...seriously.
The Birthday Boy with his babies. Good stuff
And there is the spoon sans silly faces. Kooky and fun.
Happy Birthday Preacher. I think you are kooky and fun too. Life with you is like a big bowl of ice cream with a cherry on top. For Greta.
