Let the birthday fun begin!

So the birthday celebration is already underway.... Our boy is turning 2!

Yesterday Wes and his cousin Noah (who was born on April 15th one year AFTER Wessy) brought birthday cupcakes to daycare.
Noah managed to shepherd a little frosting into his sweet almost 1 year old mouth and seemed to be happy about it.
Wes went for the full on cupcake smash (note hand stuffed entirely in the mouth).
That's my boy. More celebrations to come this weekend for the big event! Think chugga chugga choo choo!
I hope it is a great weekend for you my snuggle bug. It is hard to believe that 2 years have already passed since you joined our family. Lucky us.

EASTER!

We had a lovely Easter. Sunny day. Meaningful worship. Family. Relaxing afternoon at Grandma's house where we were fed, lounged, hunted eggs, lounged, snacked and lounged. Ahhhh.
Some pictures from the day....

We ate well...
And we all napped at some point in the afternoon:
Super happy day. So grateful that God continues to grow new things in us personally and as a family. Happy Easter!

A Long Overdue Update....starting with Feb & March

So yeah...hi.
I know. I'm a crummy blogger. It is not my worst fault, promise.
February was great...but not super newsy. The kids were happy & healthy and pretty much growing like they are supposed to.
Greta learned how to write Happy Valentines Day...
She learned to ski with her daddy (the other picture is a self-portrait of G & her dad skiing)....
We played at Papa's pool...
We played a the park with some friends...
We played dress up (Wes thought we should wear matching cowboy hats....agreed. Greta is a kangaroo. Duhhh.)...
We celebrated Grandpa's BIG birthday....
We went to the Children's museum...
We enjoyed our wonderful, fantastic, unseasonably warm spring by being outside...
And all this good stuff wore us out...
See? Good stuff, everyday stuff, and totally awesome.
