She's a'rockin!

A little video of Greta on her newly converted rocking horse. She thinks its awfully neat to get on and off the rocker by herself!

Stay tuned...more fun footage to come. Greta & Greta's mom are traveling to Peoria this weekend so that Greta can meet her GreatGrandma Haggstrom for the first time! Cousin Evelyn, Aunt Maureen & Uncle Dan, and Bamagramps & Bamagramma will all be there too! You KNOW the cameras will be out!

Is it ever to early.....

for a girl to have her first set of golf clubs? I would guess both of Greta's grandpas would answer with a resounding NO! Greta has in fact acquired her first set of sticks and has been enjoying pulvarizing the accompanying golfballs. She's getting ready to hit the greens this summer with her grandpas! FORE!

A new baby in the family

Ahhh no, blog readers....we are not pregnant with #2....but I did think that title would get your attention. We do have a new baby in the family it seems. Greta has discovered her baby doll (a gift from the Beadle family) and she now brings "baby" all around the house with her. It is terribly cute...especially when she gives her "lovies" (sort of a cross between a hug and a nuzzle- see the 1st picture). Just thought I'd share a few pics of her and her baby from this morning.

PS her Bamagramma thinks this is the best 60th bday gift ever.....to have a granddaughter that loves dolls (Greta's mom was never too much of a fan). If you see Bamagramma out and about today....be sure to wish her Happy Birthday (and giggle at her grimace!)!

A few videos for your viewing pleasure

At Bamagramma's request....we wanted to show you how Greta's walking has progressed! So here are 2 videos of her ever-improving walking and a short demo on the most frequent sign language sign that we see in our house: I'm hungry.

A Pre-Valentines Day wish....

Well....

It's cold up here. Shocker, I know. I'm posting a pic of my family looking out the window as the snow falls...all warm and cozy snuggled up together. I'm also posting a few pictures of Greta in her red Valentines Day toile dress. Yes I know....too cute. We had a yummy Sunday lunch over at Grandma's house today so you'll see a shot or two of Gboo with family from today as well.

Love from Greta boo this Valentines day!

Superbaby ready for the Superbowl

Well...yesterday's game wasn't SUPER exciting for us. We were loosely cheering for the Giants as the underdogs and the team of alot of our Jersey friends...so it was fun to see them win I suppose. But it was not the same as watching your own team in the game. I write that as if I watched a single down of the game. I did not. I heard a few play by plays from the dudes who jumped in and out of the front of the TV, but I missed the whole thing. We had Gboo's Auntie Kebbie and Uncle Peter over as well as our new fav friends Andrew & Lisa for a superbowl extravaganza. Instead of watching the game, the ladies committed to playing our new favorite board game: The Settlers of Catan. The guys succommed to the call of Catan too so we had a monster game.

Gboo was dressed in her Viking's cheerleader outfit. While the Vikings did not make it to the Superbowl, her daddy figured this was as good as it was going to get for showing her team spirit. You can tell Greta is getting back to her old self....she's feeling better and putting on a good of team spirit.
