Hi all! Just a quick post about a few recent funnies at our house.
Summer is here. YAYAYAYAY.
So we're playing outside all the time these days. THIS is why you live in Minnesota. The summers. Ahhhh.
We had the sidewalk chalk out a few days ago. Apparently Greta lost interest in the sidewalk and started decorating her brother's noggin. We heard her say, "Wes, let's play Ash Wednesday." Yes, if you look closely on our boy's forehead you'll seen the sign of the cross made in chalk. He was fine with it, so we just laughed and enjoyed the moment. Oh pastor's kids...
There had to be a bath after this interment of chalk, so into the tub. Check out the bubble beard:
Look at my girly...she's getting so big. And so pretty. And so smart. It IS happening so fast.
And yet there are still moments like this...napping in the bike trailer.
And just in case the ashes story tickled your fancy...this morning Greta woke up and invited Tyler to play a game with her that she made up: Pentecost. The convo went something like this: G: "Daddy, come here and play Penecost with me." T: (laughing) "well how do we play Pentecost?" G: "you come pick a toy and I tell you how much it cost. Get it? Pente-cost?" Yeah...definitely a PK.
