Greta, meet Central. Central, meet Greta.

This morning was Greta's first big outing. She made it to both the 8:00 and 10:00 services at church where she met many of the people that have been praying for her for the past nine months. I don't typically have much patience for those who sleep through church, but today I made an exception. Greta was asleep from the time we left the house until we brought her home again.

Grandpa Jay headed back to MN today. We'll miss him, but it'll be nice for the rest of us to hold Greta again ;)

This afternoon Greta spent some time on her play mat and she got to look at herself in the mirror. I'm told that she was pretty interested in her reflection.

Greta's first week was a wonderful one. It was also a quick one. Yet despite how busy things have been, Eleanor and I have both come to the realization that things will never be the same again.

And that's a good thing.

We are totally hooked on your daily journal. Absolutely can't wait for our 3 minutes audience with your darling little girl. Keep them coming as often as time allows. Love, Ann and Ken

Congratulations, I have enjoyed looking at the photos and she is absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to see her in person in March.

Thank you for the journal and the pictures. This site helps shrink the distance from lovely Greta. Just had to make this picture of Greta and Sarah my new desktop! Give my grandaughter an extra hug for me, jerry

The Amaryllis story-wasn't there a story about a rose bush blooming when Dan was born? Ask BamaGrama that.
Will and I just might have to venture your way when I fly in to Philly for The Flower Show to see greta for ourselves. Love,Lucia
