Ooooh yeah....Gboo may look like her daddy but apparently a little of mommy's genes made it into the mix after all. The redneck genes (I say that in an affectionate way, of course). We decorated for Christmas tonight. Greta took an interest in one of our cherished, albeit less tasteful Christmas decorations....our holiday pink flamingo. The flamingo was a joke gift given to us by some friends back in Jersey (we "flocked" church members to raise money for a mission trip) and we adore it. Well, like momma and daddy, like baby girl apparently. As soon as the flamingo emerged from its storage box, Greta grabbed it and claimed it as her own. We took a couple pics of our girl for a good laugh (note the no-pants diaper look, flamingo tucked under her arm, and her new "cheeeeese" photo face...just in time for everyone's holiday cards).
